Before you can buy anything through ebay, you’re going to need to register some of your information with them so they know where to send it!
Registration is quite simple and takes just a few minutes to complete. Be sure to have the following information handy, before registering through ebay:
- First & last name
- Address (Including street, city, state/province, postal code & country)
- Primary telephone number
- Email address
- Date of birth
You’ll also have to choose a unique user name and password to protect your account. We recommend using at least 10 characters for your ebay password to make it harder for hackers and phishers to guess!
Once you agree to ebay’s user agreement and privacy policy, you’ll be sent a confirmation email to your email address (so you can’t lie about it!) and you’ll also be asked to either verify your telephone number and/or credit card before you’re allowed to make your first purchase.
